Bridging the gap during the end-of-life journey.
We are end of life doulas (death doula) and palliative companions serving Portland and SW Washington.”
What is an End of Life Doula?
NEDA’s definition of the end of life doula is: “End-of-life doulas provide non-medical, holistic support and comfort to the dying person and their family, which may include education and guidance as well as emotional, spiritual or practical care.”
At Bridges End of Life Services, LLC, we offer end of life doula support and palliative companionship for people who need palliative or hospice care in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, WA.
We have a special & unique program that many other death doulas do not provide. You don’t have to be dying in order to utilize our services. We offer a program called our Palliative Companionship and Advocacy. This is offered to anyone living with a serious illness that needs a holistic palliative support system. We work with many palliative care clinics and clinics all around Vancouver, WA and Portland, Oregon..
Professional & Ethical
You will only receive a professional and friendly experience at Bridges. You will never experience any judgment and will always feel supported as this is our #1 goal. We also abide by a strict code of ethics, are certified, licensed, insured, and bonded.
One of the greatest things we can offer as a loved one is in the active dying stage is to provide relief for the support system. If family and friends need a nap or break for a few of hours we can provide that support and stay by the their side while they’re dying. We can also create a plan so everyone feels supported during this stage of the dying process.
Much Needed Anxiety Relief For Entire Family
One of the most common things we hear from the families we work with are, overwhelm, stress, and anxiety. As end of life doulas, we specialize in helping ease the anxiety and stress that is often prevalent and debilitating to the person living with the illness and their family.
We receive ongoing training and education through many reputable organizations such as hospice and other certifications offered in the field. Our doulas are certified, bonded, and insured. There is no governing organization or formal licenses needed for death doulas. But we go above and beyond with our ongoing training.
We Create a Plan

It can take hours of research trying to learn about what you need to do at the end of life on your own, please let us help. We want you to spend quality times with the ones you love.
